Sharp Introduces Four New Tiny Screen LCD TVs

Expanding its breadth of AQUOS LED LCD TV offerings, Sharp today introduces four new small-screen models with a contemporary, ultra-thin design and high-quality performance. Available in 32- (31 1/2“ diagonal) and 22-inch (21 1/2” diagonal) screen class sizes, the LS510 series (models LC-32LS510UT and LC-22LS510UT) delivers stunning Full HD 1080p imagery in a space-saving footprint. The 19-inch (18 1/2" diagonal) screen class size LC-19LS410UT rounds out Sharp’s line of LED LCD TVs for any room or need.

“Sharp has always believed in the potential of LCD technology, and is taking an aggressive approach with LED-backlit sets by offering LED LCD TV series of all sizes with features to fit any consumer need,” said Bruce Tripido, associate vice president, marketing, Entertainment Products Division, Sharp. “The four new small-screen LED TVs provide consumers with the premium benefits of LED technology – higher contrast ratios, more vivid colors and lower power consumption – in smaller packages.”

Employing a high-performance TFT LCD panel with Spectral Contrast Engine UD, these models, combined with an edge-lit LED backlight system, provide high contrast ratios for deep blacks and vibrant colors in dark or bright scenes.

The LS510 and LS410 series tout a contemporary AQUOS edge design, in which the panel glass extends to the edge of the frame. With an ultra-thin depth of only 1.49 inches, these units offer ultimate placement flexibility.

To help manage energy costs, these models meet the new ENERGY STAR® Version 4.0 standards. They come equipped with an HDMI® input for convenient connection to HD-capable devices, a PC input, allowing the screens to serve as a monitor for greater versatility, and a headphone mini-jack for easy speaker connections and USB photo and music.
