Toshiba Offers Full Line-Up Of Space-Saving LCD TV/DVD Combos Designed To Fit Every Room In The Home
Today, Toshiba announced its comprehensive 2009 LCD TV/DVD combination lineup, reinforcing its 2008 market share lead in this product category. Toshibas new line delivers a convenient all-in-one entertainment experience that can be integrated into any room of the house, whether its the kitchen, bedroom or home office.

The new 26LV610U features a 26.0-inch diagonal LCD screen and a high-gloss black bezel, and like all Toshiba LCD TV combination units, it has a 16:9 widescreen display.
Through November 2008, NPDs retail tracking service data shows that Toshiba leads the market across several size categories, holding 34 percent unit share in models under 23-inches and accounting for five of the top 10 LCD TV combination models 23-inches or less.
New Stylish Design
Each of Toshibas new space-saving LCD TV combination models features a thin profile and a new contemporary design for the style-conscious consumer. The slight translucent design in the bezel adds a stylish appearance of depth, while the hidden speaker gives the set a clean, polished look. The 15, 19 and 22-inch sizes (measured diagonally) are available in high-gloss black or high-gloss white, offering the discerning consumer the ability to match the set to his or her surroundings for optimal integration into any room in the home.

Focusing on functionality and versatility, Toshibas full line of LCD TV combination models is feature packed. All models feature a 16:9 widescreen LCD and provide WMA, MP3, JPEG and DivX® playback to support flexibility in any owners favorite media formats. Additionally, the majority of Toshibas lineup includes HDMI™ and PC inputs, which allows these sets to be hooked up to high-definition devices or be used in conjunction with a computer, and support gaming and receiving HD broadcasts.
Toshibas 2009 LCD TV Combination Models Include:
- The introduction of a 26-inch screen size, which enhances Toshibas already extensive lineup. The new 26LV610U features a 26.0-inch diagonal LCD screen and a high-gloss black bezel, and like all Toshiba LCD TV combination units, it has a 16:9 widescreen display. The HDMI™ and PC inputs, along with a thin chassis depth, allow this mid-sized set to function as the primary TV in the home or in the bedroom or kitchen.
- The 22LV610U, which features a 21.6-inch diagonal 16:9 widescreen LCD, is available in high gloss black or high gloss white, as the 22LV611U.
- The 19LV610U, which features an 18.5-inch diagonal 16:9 widescreen LCD, is available in high gloss black or high gloss white, as the 19LV611U.
- The 15LV505, a continuing model, gives consumers great picture quality in a compact package. Featuring a 15.6-inch diagonal 16:9 widescreen LCD and a slim frame that allows it to integrate into tight spaces, this model is now available in white, as the 15LV506.
In addition to the extensive features detailed above, Toshiba LCD TV combination models will meet ENERGY STAR 3.0 certifications. Further supporting its commitment to environmental responsibility, Toshiba has also reduced the amount of paper used in its packaging for the 15, 19 and 22-inch models thanks to a compact folding stand design.
